Nooooo - don't do it!
Been there - done that - got the road rash!
Check out the pics on me web site, the CBR69 bit. There are pics of my bike with the red tyres... how long (NOT) they lasted... and the resulting damage caused by those crap tyres!
Hope it helps!

I just thought they look alright but i would never waist my money on something like that. With tyres its always best to go for the better known names as i have found out the hard way and thats what put me of ever buying some.
Just wondering what tyres do you lot go for and which ones have you found to be the best for wet and dry weather. |

Maybe I'm just a tart but the colour of my tyres matches my bike.

Well I have never seen coloured tyres before and to be honest, I wish to never see them again, truly dreadful!
All to their own though. |

No offence to anyone who said they've fallen off when using these tires but do you know you wouldn't have fallen off on normal tires? I don't see the problem with used carcasses, it's not like the company are going to use dodgy or dangerous old tires are they? If the carcass is fine I don't see the problem having new rubber molded to the outside of them, it's done in the same way they are made in the first place so I don't see a problem there?
It doesn't seem like the journos hate them that much either?

To be honest seeing as they're so cheap I’d give them a try but that’s just me. |

RiDE mag tested some recently and they had problems with the tread de-laminating. At high speed.
More than a few readers reported similar troubles...

Hi,
I think these tyres are really cool.
I would love a pair for my GPZ500s.
Anybody know where to buy them ?
Does anybody know if they can be used safely for riding hard (GPZ500S Dont laugh to loud!), or are they only really meant for show bikes ?
Hope someone can give me a confident answer.
Many thanks

they look wank new, they look worse worn and from the sounds of things they dont grip too well!
https://www.ac-hills.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/cbr_6_9.htm
that together with the fact ive never seen anyone with them riding in anger or at a track indicates that they are not to be trusted. |
