So here we are again, yet another cahk-munching UK company that thinks it can charge a primo price for a useless, shonky fvckwitted debacle of a web interfaced service. Trying to list my Blade, the interface allows only up to a 1992 model.

Ring them up, "Yes, we have that problem, ring this number..."

Ring the number, "Yes, just put anything in, then ring this number again and we'll change and correct it."

For this they charge £19.99. Useless, shiftless WANKERS. The UK standard..."Give us lots of money, so we can't even be arsed to get something so basic done properly."

CVNTS.

Just park the fucking thing at the end of your drive with a "For Sale" sign on.

And then they inform me "It'll take around 24 hours for the listing to appear."

What are they doing, knocking it up on a Caxton press?

FVCKWITS!

Do you reckon that would need the sign "Please steal me" or do you think the pikies would be able to work that out for themselves? Confused

Enter it as the closest year to yours and then explain the case in the description.

20 quid for the pleasure of informing them their database is incorrect Laughing, and some people will pay it too... Shocked

It just doesn't end, does it. So you pay your road-tax, pay your gasoline tax, park outside your own house, put a piece of paper inside YOUR OWN CAR, and get fined for it.

Is there no limit to the scale of the insanity? Is there ever going to come a point where even the cattle say enough is enough?

Hetz,

Give the Friday Ad a try, sold my car in less than 24 hours through that.

Wouldn't bother with the paper edition though as I was getting calls two days before that was released.

It's a case of where does one draw the line. eBay should have been a no-brainer. Autotrader is about as obvious as it gets if one is looking for a bike.

I suspect the biggest problem is the economic climate. That and spiv operations like Autowankers.

I've had a no paying Polish idiot win the bit on my 125 and was thinking of using them instead of re-listing on Ebay

Nobody's holding a gun to his head.

There are so many places you can advertise, personally I'd assume anyone with half a brain that had ever used Autotrader/Biketraders webshite would have steered well clear in the first place.

Also if it looked like Hetzer was struggling to get by I might be a bit more sympathetic, but it's a bit lost on me coming from someone who has just spent £400 on a cat.

Whats wrong with Spending £400 on a cat? I spent more than that on my boy one year when he was ill...

The cat I really want is either a Maine Coon or a Norweigen Forrest cat both of which are stupid amount of money... but then you do get a lot of cat for your money...

I'm assuming the charge was not to correct it but to place the ad in the first place. I've always found the Auto Trader site a bit steep but tends to be worth the extra over eBay as people seem to be more willing to pay decent prices.

Yet another massive overreaction in Hetzville. Razz

Nout wrong with it, but then to go ape shit about a £20 excess on an ad that he didn't have to place is a little extreme.

Jesus, I bet you've got a hinge in your back. Laughing

It's a bloody service, a broken one, for which they're charging a primo price. It's supposed to be as easy as filling in a few details online, paying with your card and seeing the correct advert go up within, at most, a half hour.

Instead you get a fvcktarded 45 minutes of frustration, have to make two phone-calls, with instructions to make a third sometime after another 24 fvcking hours later. Why? Because "our database is a bit out of date". A BIT? Like fifteen fvcking years?

But it's typical of the disease this country is inflicted by. Couldn't give an arse, shiftless ineptitude. But, oh boy, wasn't their billing service slick as greased shit. No snafus there, eh?

If they can't even get the last 14 years worth of Fireblades onto their database they don't deserve to be in fvcking business. But I guess it's bend-over attitudes like yours that have allowed them to survive for so long with their third-world standard of service. Rolling Eyes

My thoughts exactly.

Mainly I'm suprised that someone who has any clue about bikes is bothering with their site.

If I want to look for a 50, I have to make up a similair post code because according to them mine isn't real, then look for a 125 and below etc etc, it's crap.
