I was abslolutely fuming coming home from work and all because my bike had been moved from where it was parked to 10 metres away????

The bike was not blocking any public access or fire points, has been in the same position when at work for the past 9 months with no problems.

No note was left, no one tried to contact me regarding the need to move the bike, it just was.

Its my fault for not having the disc lock on, but if they tried to move it with that insitu would 'they' have been responsible for any damage caused to the bike, I think not!

Who the hell has the authority to move someones possession?

Think yourself lucky they didn't just keep on pushing it all the way home, otherwise this would be another "bastard,i forgot to lock my bike up and it got nicked by some pikey"thread.

It happens, and people don't think twice about it! Problem is if someone drops it they'll piss off and leave you with the bill.

That's just one thing you don't do touch someones bike, it's like touching someones bird you just don't do it unless you wan't to get your face smashed in. Next time don't forget the disc lock.

With CCTV in the main carparks, nestled all around by taxi ranks and it being parked next to the busy main entrance to the hospital in broad daylight I would think that its a little unlikely to ever happen, yes stranger things have happened but I'm sure that someone would question things.

So ask if you can look at the CCTV because someone moved your bike.

CCTV in carparks only, you'll see why no good if you look at the above picture.

Was anything damaged? If not, take this as a lesson to put your disc lock on. If you dont know who it was then there is nothing you can do about it. annoying? Yes! But there is only one thing you can do from preventing it from happening again. Lock it up.

TBH your lucky it was not a thief that tried.

I work at a hospital too, and park my bike outside the main entrance, never had a problem til one day I looked out of the window and some bloke had plonked his kid on it and was taking pictures of them Evil or Very Mad I was absaf**kinglutely livid, so I legged it down the stairs but by the time I got there they'd gone. Like someone has already said, if he'd knocked it over he would have bogged off and left me with the bill, and how would he feel if he came out to find me sat on the roof of his car Twisted Evil

Wait a minute I thought it was you that posted a while back about thwarting two thieving cunts trying to nick your bike from that very carpark? Am I mistaken?

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

I left my 125 in a communal garage, (its attached to a scout hall.) One of the other leaders decided he needed something and tried to move my bike. The garage was locked and I'd left the steering lock off but he still managed to try and move it by dragging it side ways across the floor.

When I came back and tried to start it, the engine raced. Turns out the ignorant git had pulled the throttle side grip off snapping then snagging the throttle cable in the process.

Thats annoying, what made me really angry was he never said anything till I approached him about it, it was only then he admitted it, never got an apology or an offer to pay for the damage.

He's a god botherer who's always bleating on about the scout laws, he's also a raging hypocrite and an ignorant shithead.

The next question is, would you move or touch another bikers bike?
