...who would you vote?

There's a lot of talk on here about the BS coming from the labour Government and various other slurs regarding Taxes, fuel prices and the general state of the economy.

I'm not a Labour fan. Neither am I a Torie fan. But I think it will be funny to see how many people on here back the current govenrment Very Happy

Hi

Don't want to vote for any of them. However I really do not want labour in again (except possibly to make them clear up the mess they have greatly contributed to, and then have someone else win the next election to take advantage of it). BNP I wouldn't go near. Greens and lib-dems would really screw over the road users even more.

Pretty much just leaves the conservatives.

All the best

Keith

Conservatives

Would mainly be a vote against Labour. Voting for any of the other parties would be equally valid as a vote against Labour, but Conservatives have the best chance of beating Labour therefore it's best to vote for them.

I marked conservatives, but it would be a vote against labour not a vote of support specifically for the tory party.

I would vote SNP, but its a bit of a waste in the UK parliament.

Thumbs Up

I'm not going to waste my time on any of them. And the thought of voting for one bunch of criminal filth simply in order to oust another bunch fills me with repugnance.

The best signal, and the easiest, that the UK population can send these degenerates is to totally boycott the next election. Let's see how puffed up they'd feel about themselves then. Oh, I know, they'd ban abstensism after that, but at least they'd get the message and have any option of BS'ing their way out of it removed.

Lib-Dems.

Unfortunately what I think is going to happen is that Everyone who voted for Labour in the last election will go for the Tories and we will have David shitmouth Cameron as our next PM. Poor Gordon, he waited all that time and everyone hates him Razz

I agree. I think he might be the first british prime minister to get assassinated for a long time (ever?). He'd get on a lot of peoples tits. At least Gordon doesn't try and be likeable Laughing

UKIP if they are standing.

If I was living back in Scotland, I'd be voting SNP (as quite a lot of people may well do, taking away from the traditional Labour vote).

It's actually scary to think how many people would vote Tories just to stab at Labour. I'm going to vote for them too, but not because I support them. I just want to see Labour ousted (coming from someone who used to post Labour leaflets to houses).

I would possibly vote BNP if I knew they wouldn't get into power as I think they do have some common sense policies that have been lost with the big parties who have lost touch with the common man.

Why is there no option for people who used to support Labour? New Labour is a sham, a pretty right wing sham at that! What a joke!

I'd vote conservatives for the same reasons as Kickstart. Labour need to be dragged out ASAP, ideally before they do more damage but there's no hope of that.

At this point I just want a government that will stop fucking around with things - I don't care about money burning schemes proposed by 'thinktanks', I just want to be left to get on with things without constantly finding that something is illegal today that wasn't yesterday and that another unjustifiable tax hike is around the corner.

We are so far in debt that the government needs to create these extra taxes just to pay off the interest. It's a pretty sorry state of affairs.

I would love to vote SNP, Scottish family and all that and the are clearly doing what's right for the place. Unfortunately there is no proper alternative in England, even wales have Plyd Cymru.

Great, isn't it? Carte blanche to spend as much as they like on whatever they like and we get to pay for it when they fuck up. I wouldn't mind quite so much if they put their hands up and said 'we made a total hash of this lot and need more of your cash', but there's no end to the 'for your own good' spiel which makes me despise the slimy pricks more and more with each passing day.

Still, at least they're not at risk of losing their second home allowance and any of the other endless perks. That's what really counts after all.

Being honest I have no direct objection to the idea of tax. What I do object to is hidden, hideously complex taxes and taxes that waste a fortune to collect.

Keep it simple. Simple income tax, simple VAT, simple local income tax for councils, and maybe duty on a few things.

Scrap VED, scrap tax credits, scrap TV licences, etc.

All the best

Scrap every piece of legislation that has been enacted within the last eight years.

They could do it with a single bill of revocation.

Hi

Agree, although maybe a bit longer than 8 years.

So few useful pieces of legislation that the odd one could be reenacted with a few hours effort one day.

All the best

Keith

They'll vote for themselves and consider it a landslide victory.

If I voted then I would be directly responsible for their behaviour and then I couldn't complain at how they've ruined everything. If somehow there was a genuine, honest human being running they might get my vote but until then it would be a waste of time.

Fucking aye, I struggle to understand why they have so little support when they are perhaps the most promising political party around at the moment.

.
Quote:
UKIP will leave the political EU and trade globally and freely. We will re-embrace today’s fast-growing Commonwealth and we will encourage UK manufacturing so that we make things again.
We will freeze immigration for five years, speed up deportation of up to a million illegal immigrants by tripling the numbers engaged in deportations, and have ‘no home no visa’ work permits to ease the housing crisis.
We will have a grammar school in every town. We will restore standards of education and improve skills training. Student grants will replace student loans.
We will radically reform the working of the NHS with an Insurance Fund, whilst upholding the ‘free at the point of care’ principles. We will bring back matrons and have locally run, clean hospitals.
We will give people the vote on policing priorities, go back to proper beat policing and scrap the Human Rights Act. We will have sentences that mean what they say.
We will take 4.5 million people out of tax with a simple Flat Tax (with National Insurance) starting at £10,000. We will scrap Inheritance Tax, not just reform it and cut corporation taxes.
We will say No to green taxes and wind farms. To avert a major energy crisis, we will go for new nuclear power plants on the same existing site facilities and for clean coal. We will reduce pollution and encourage recycling.
We will make welfare simpler and fairer, introduce ‘workfare’ to get people back to work, and a new citizens pension and private pensions scheme insurance.
We will support our armed forces with more spending on equipment, military homes and medical care. We will save our threatened warships and add 25,000 more troops.
We will be fair to England, with an English Parliament of English MPs at Westminster. We will replace assembly members like MSPs with MPs. And we will promote referenda at local and national levels.
We will make customer satisfaction number one for rail firms – not cost cutting and will look seriously at reopening some rail lines that Beeching closed. We will make foreign lorries pay for British roads with a ‘Britdisc’ – and we will stop persecuting motorists.
Last, but never least, we will bring in fair prices and fair competition for our suffering farmers, and restore traditional British fishing and territorial waters.

Don't for a minute believe everything they say, but principles are in the right place. Get the hell out of the EU.

I voted for them in the recent by-election here in Henley, they came 6th I think, after Green/BNP, and after Labour as well, AFTER LABOUR!? After everything, ridiculous. I can only assume people are too ignorant to even learn about the options in front of them, if the SUN doesn't publish it, then why would they know any better.

All you hear lately is people whinging like fuck about the EU, but yet, as has been proven above, you are all just going to vote for the Tories as a protest to the Labour government, is it any wonder we are forever stuck in this two party system if everyone is so brainwashed into doing just that.

I despair at the state of the whole thing, I really do. And to think for a moment that not voting will have the affect of some kind of protest to state of things, they probably love it when people don't vote. Only 50% turned out here for the by-election, not a word was said about how disappointing that particular fact was.

Obviously not setting fire to black people. It'd involve setting fire to a hell of a lot of my friends and I couldn't deal with the mess.

Also ironic how you slate the concept of a nationalist party in one sentence, then wish you could vote for a nationalist party in the next one. Laughing

For the record, I have Scottish blood and would vote for SNP if I lived there. Again, it's a stab at Labour, the party who are far too arrogant and undeserving of premiership at the moment.

Somebody ought to show the scum stuff like this. Somebody ought to rub their rotten faces in it. Then smash in the backs of their skulls with big claw-hammers.

No. Just make them read it. We're a wholly representitive cross-section of people all over this country. I've yet to meet a single client who doesn't feel the same way, about the lot of them. Politicians are despised and loathed by ordinary people to an astonishing degree. Their total failure, over decades, to lead mankind even into the shadow of glory, never mind it's full-on shine, is an utter disgrace. They are failures. And worse than that, in the full knowledge of their complete uselessness they decide to take absolute advantage and gorge at the trough like the greedy self-serving lying and cheating pigs they are. They should be arrested, prosecuted and given very lengthy jail sentences. They are the very definition of criminal.

I thought you said in another thread that you were left wing? If you think you're left wing and yet you'f vote BNP, you're either incredibly stupid or don't know the difference between right and left.
