Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

believe it or not we didnt know what drum and bass was here! that was rave to us. It was either that or QFX that was blasting out of the juke box. When we went to places to buy music there wasnt even a drum and bass section! no where them to download stuff, good aul taping of the radio done.

edit: who else feels old now after this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJzGyBTEzfg

I had rough copy tapes, I tapes what I liked, went out sometimes left record on and then the songs I liked I tranfered to another edited cleaned up tape. Very Happy that was only done when I could be bothered, which was not often so I have still got the local taxi adds and boyds stores adds on them.

And I know what you mean about the 'new stuff'. For me it was about the production improvements though. 'Experience' had a flat sound compared to 'Music', and like I mentioned, 'Voodoo' had a way of taking chomps out of my speakers. Even considering 'Charlie's "bowl movement" section.... I got in trouble once at work (Tandy...loooong time ago...) for hooking up three PA amps to a stereo and giving the biggest speakers we sold a workout. Not for doing it, for not locking the doors properly and one broke. Embarassed

Saw em at the reading festival in 98. Shit hot live. They were having a bit of a row with the beastie boys at the time coz the beasties said smack my bitch up was dissin women. Think they played it anyway and told the beastly boys to go fuck em selves.
I didn't bother to watch the beastie boys so dont know if they responded. Sounded shit from my tent tho.
