Bike leather sizes :s

Im confused on the sizes of the racing leathers, Im a 30inch waist but everywhere i look i cant find any in that size, are the sizes different????

As a rule pretty much all manufactors have varying sizes, but they are all roughly the same. Saying that it is always advisable to try stuff on for fit before buying.

If your looking for a 1 piece suit, most sizes are taken off the chest measurement and waist size tends to be relational, so its definitely worth trying some on for fit.

2 pieces can be brought separately so they show both a chest size and a waist size so if your struggling to get a 1 piece in a good fit a 2 piece may be the way to look.

from my experience most manufactors seem to be oversized, but i know RST have a fairly "true" 30 inch waist so they may be worth a look Thumbs Up

If you're anything other than "average" height for your weight then you will struggle to get a 1 piece to fit. If you're insistent on a 1 piece then get it slightly too big (as close as possible) and get it adjusted. What I did was get a 2 piece. 32 inch trousers (I'm usually a 30 but Alpinestars are tight) and 42 chest jacket. Zip together at the waist and fit me nicely. My problem was being 6'1" but only weighing 11stone with a 30" waist.
