It was so noobish of him to fall like that. He had what, a 7 second lead? Why was he pushing it so much? The funny thing is that my when I was watching it, my friend said: I bet you he'll fall soon, and it took about 2 and a half seconds after he said it Very Happy

GO ROSSI

Laughing And I suppose you could really show him a thing or two on your RS125 eh? I'm hardly a Pedrosa fan but the guy was riding brilliantly beforehand and every rider on the grid will have done the same thing in the wet at some point.

Pedrosa remind me of a a snobby 5 year old. Rossi / Stoner, much more likeable characters.

Is a bit sus how he was pushing so hard with such a big lead only conclusion i came to that he was showing off.

I admire the skill that guys like stoner and pedrosa have, but if they've got no soul or character, what's there to like? They're just a bland, expressionless machines with stoner ALWAYS ending his sentences with "you know?!" THAT irks me, it goes to show that leaving school at 14 to race has a detrimental effect on vocabulary.

I'm glad pedrosa binned it because it calls for a more exciting championship. Shame about Jorge though.

I know stoner commented that not a lot of people get to see his life outside bikes, but at least have some soul. At end of the day, i feel that it's the exuberant character of rossi, lorenzo, capirossi, even vermeulen that makes them likeable.

Does it matter whether they're likeable, they're racers not chat show hosts.

Why everyone still hangs on to the whole pedrosa not smiling this is beyond me, he's been stood on the podium smilin plenty of times this year, fact is he had it hard last season being on an uncompetitive bike, if you were in his position you'd be pissed off as well.

I was gutted when he fell off, Pedrosas major flaw used to be that he couldn't ride in the wet, that isn't the case anymore, he was slaughtering everyone else but as is racing, being at the front means you get to the worst conditions first and he lost it.

I'd be happy to see him win it this year, he's worked very hard and he's getting very consistant results, he'd be a deserving champ.

Stoner>Rossi/Pedrosa.

Good riders, spoilt little kids like that don't deserve to win stuff.

I don't like Pedrosa.

He's a miserable little shite. I mean, the guy has a permanent frown on his face!

Rossi is so much chirpier, as is Stoner.

We don't need people like Pedrosa in sport, he just pisses people off when he gets on the podium because he doesn't even look happy.

Ultimately, these guys get paid because WE WATCH THEM ride. If he's gonna be such a shit, he should stick to riding on trackdays and trying to set the fastest lap because I don't want to see him!!

Arrrrrgh.

Plenty more where those came from, the pedrosa not smiling argument is offically retarded.

I was watching, and as the camera was on his bike I thought to myself he is going too fast, the next second he's sliding accross the floor at ~170mph.

As for whether or not I want riders to win beacuase of their personality, personally I don't care.

Pedrosa may be a bit more downbeat, a bit "Raikonnen-esque" even after a win, but he's a very consistantly fast rider. Stoner, Rossi and Pedrosa have all put the effort in this season, and I think anyone of them three would thoroughly deserve to win the championship. Pedrosa has the consistency, Rossi is just a legend and can pull points out of the bag from well down the grid, and Stoner is just really good at extracting every last bit of pace from the Duke, where other good riders on the same bike are coming last.

I'm a bit of a Rossi fan, probably due to his personality a little bit, but mostly as he is just an ace rider. Look at Assen, he rode most of the race with no footpeg, which might not sound that difficult, but he was absolulty flying.

I wouldn't of wanted Pedrosa to fall off, but it has definatley made this season more interesting, and if Lorenzo can gain a bit more experience on the GP bike and regain his early confidence, then next year could be even more interesting. It'll also be interesting to what perch Hayden ends up on, as I don't think it'll be HRC next year.

I don't think Pedrosa is really that miserable, he just doesn't show his emotions in the way that Rossi and Lorenzo ect do.
I know for a fact that if I was in the limelight like MotoGP riders are I'd be more laid back like Pedrosa then all camp and in your face like Rossi is.

As for him pulling a 7 second lead then crashing, Marco Simoncelli did exactly the same thing in the 250's and I bet everybody was thinking I bet he'll crash soon, but he went on to win.
