<useless fact>The Battle of Hastings was actually in a little town/village/hamlet called "Battle", near Hastings, but not actually in Hastings itself. </useless fact>

Technically I think you should have enclosed that ^ in <extremely useless fact> </extremely useless fact> tags. Razz

last year was good, was some kind of reinactment of second world war thing going on at the same time at some train crossroads near hastings, good weather too, just not so good queued on country lanes with hundreds of overheating bikes, great once we got there tho... wonder if my tzr will manage it....

that was the best bit, thousands of bikes pouring down country roads because of the crash causing a detour from the main road. Ppl trying to find the quickest way back on route, I got lucky Very Happy

Im from Hastings, its great every year - I used to go down and look at the bikes ever since I was little! I live in Uxbridge now and want to ride back home for it (and to show off my brand new spray job on my FZR600 to my mates) but Ive never done the whole route before (not with a load of other bikes). Is there any specific meeting points in and around London where I can go and join other fellow riders? dont worry if we get lost - I know every short cut there is down there... Wink

Cheers

IMO plugging your website in posts disguised as being useful or taking part are no different to spamming, it's all you and Silverback seem to do.

sorry you feel that way Phoenix, we don't mean to do that at all.
Just been trying to meet up with more people, you and I know it makes it more fun Smile I only post here because I like to know what is going on with the events and runs.
Lots of us know people who are already BCF members and it's nice to join in now and again, and sometimes it is easier to link to a thread elsewhere than start a new one.
Don't worry I won't bother again Smile

We should not have beef with each other. We do the same thing, love the same thing, so why argue? Let's all go to Boxhill and eat a burger and chips! Thumbs UpRazz
