Just one problem; I've never dealt with, nor have any kind of bank account with Halifax???

Halifax isn't even a plc anymore, it merged with Bank of Scotland to become HBOS plc.

ANY email like that, saying you need to click here to verify your account details is a scam.

Never reply to them and never click the links, just delete them.

They're always scams, there is no question about it, regardless of if you do or do not bank with them. Just like you're never going to win some lottery you've never entered and you're not going to inherit millions from some Nigerian millionaire. Wink

The people most often to be found violating Halifax accounts are probably Halifax themselves; slapping on unjustified 'charges' and fines.
