Yesterday driving along the M1 at about 55 in lane one, medium traffic. Twat in a mondeo with a big cigar overtakes, with a laptop on his knees and typing.

First story.
Doesn't surprise me in the slightest. At least once a month I see some bell end in a scabby white van reading his newspaper as he drives to work in the morning.

To the first: A few weeks ago i was filtering up in between two lanes of very slowly moving traffic, a white van was veering to and fro in the lane to my right. I slow down and crawl along in the centre just behind the van cars on either side.

In his passenger side wing mirror I see he has a kid on his lap steering the van. I toot my horn: nothing. I then rev the bike (very noisy can on it) he shifts the van over I pull level peer in to see him handing the five year old child back to the wife.

As to the second thing? Well, its one way to end speculation. Judging by the settlement, it might have been high profile. (That footballer got royally shafted, heh. )
