Who want to 'acquire' for me the plastic clips for the 150 piece pro socket set?

Mine have gone walkies. Would do it myself but they've put them in a glass display cabinet.

A price can be arranged via PM.

P.S. Your Guildford store is the crappest shop I've ever had the misfortune to go in. Staffed by chav scum more interested in stick plastic crap to their 1 litre Fiesta than actually bothering to put stock on the shop floor.

LOL, I've got the same problem but have only lost one clip. Because of this, all the bits and bobs rattle about in the case and I don't know if the extra bit you've got is mine or not Confused Smile

i went in and mentioned it to the staff in my local store. They ordered me a new case gratis...

The pro gear has a lifetime warrenty.
just take it back in demanding a new case as the clips on yours were faulty and "snapped off".
sounds like a viable enough excuse to me.

The tools have the lifetime warranty not the case, plus with the tools you have to take the old one in showing the damage to exchange it.

Saying that it depends on the spotty muppets that work there, I have took an old cheapo spanner back and they didn't look at it, they just gave me a new one. Mr. Green

OK I'll give you that.

BUT

I assume the training is the same thing all over the country, and the minimum accepted standard of emplyee knowledge which appears to be none.

So on that basis I can say that unless they learnt some stuff somewhere else, everyone in BikeHut is bollocks. None of them around here have a clue.

My local Halfords is constantly out of stock of many things - vast stretches of shelves and hooks empty.

Every time I go in there I come close to burning the place down out of frustration.
