Being that it is a 1400cc V twin, Might you be from the US perchance?
I'm not sure that we know enough about cruiser engines to help you too much, but If someone on here knows they will soon post.
Welcome to the forum and I do hope we can help! ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F
Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another. |

Would it be an option to run 1 larger carb, intead of the twins if space is tight? I would think a single large flatslide on a custom made manifold, might be a better idea, but i guess you will need to get some dimensions for various carbs and see how they compare, and if they will fit in the space available. If it were me i would still prefer the large sigle carb route over twins tho. |
You are right,, the Mikuni TM 40 flat side is probably ideal to feed the engine,,, and they are fairly small. I keep going back to the SSI,,, I guess I just like the way it looks. Probably not a good reason but that's where I'm at for now. May end up with the flat slide before it is over. |
