It was from Australia or New Zealand and was about BMXs. I remembered earlier (after reading about voice changers in another thread) that the bad guy was a motorcycle rider dressed all in black, with a black lid and a black visor. He was (IIRC) known as 'The Spook' and had a voice changer. I thought he was really cool.

Anyone find any videos of this online? I've searched youtube but have drawn a blank. Sad

Turns out its only a six episode mini series type thing... I doubt I'll ever find anything on it. I just remember that the opening theme was excellent and the New Zealand BMX kiddies used to always go on about the Spook, but obviously being from New Zealand they added as many vowels to the word as possible, pronouncing it more like 'Spouook'.

Someone remembers it! \o/

Looking at IMDB and stuff, it sounds like it was about an emerald heist performed by said motorcycle rider. The stolen goods somehow fell into the hands of one of the young BMX punks and she couldn't tell the polizei because her dad was implicated. The Spook then spent all of his time (from what I remember) trying to chase and intimidate the BMX punks with his dark visor and his voice changer... I love it when the bad guy is way cooler than the good guy! A bit like Charles Dance in Last Action Hero! Smile
