Nasa jackets, not the space station. Nice and safe attidude clothing. And also spliffy jeans. I cant even so much as find a jacket for sale or a picture on the internet.

I had a few of their things but my cat peed on them years ago and they where binned. I remember torturing my dad for a nasa jacket and it cost £100 then and I got it from a rave clothing shop thats since long gone.

anyone? Neutral

I do know that Nasa space station didnt like the logo as it looked the same and maybe the reason you cant get one now. They where out in the early to mid 90's and popular with ravers.
edited to put logo in

I used to have a couple of pairs of Spliffy and Eclipse jeans when I was at school in the early 90's.
Worn with my Dreamscape bomber jacket and undercut center parting I was the boy Embarassed Laughing

I think they where similar to the dreamscape jackets just a different logo. There was DP ones also, but you where only cool in the Nasa ones as everyone knew you couldnt get a Nasa one if you had a DP one Laughing

did you have the greasy curtains hair cut HAHA Laughing

I remember back in early 90's they were all the thing at school, I saved up and bought a Spliffy waistcoat, my parents wouldn't let me wear the jeans as they were too baggy and yobbish, I wasn't allowed an undercut either, but did have a centre parting and curtains Laughing

Haha! That gear was rife in my school. Then came Record Bags, 'Unity' or 'Black Market' were the brand of choice.

Don't forget, if you had to look smart it was YSL or Ralph Lauren branded check shirts!

I am so pleased there are so few pictures of me in my 'yoof'!

Okay, I'm pretty sad, but I actually found that interesting. The guy actually managed to get a trademark for his 'Nice and Safe Attitude' version of the logo granted in the face of opposition from, y'know, the real NASA.
He also got £900 in costs out of 'em Very Happy

However, by that point the company had gone belly up 3 years previous, so hey, swings and roundabouts.

And I'd totally forgotten Eclipse and Spliffy. Can't say I ever had any of the stuff myself, they felt like they were trying too hard.

IIRC all the bullies and w@nkers at my school used to wear that stuff. Nowadays they'd probably be described as chavs TBH.

lol, I remember begging my parents for a pair of those jeans and being told we couldn't afford them. Still remember thinking how unfair it was.

Looking back, I bet they could afford them but just didn't want me dressed like a twat. Mr. Green

you know your probably right! we used to wear track suits at clubs but there where no such things as chavs then and we just went for the music, ahem some went for the drugs. But no trouble with ravers spliffy jeans and NASA jackets I was a metal head just before that but being over in Holland a lot also the happy hardcore was polluting my head. My brother has all his gear in mint condition! he collects all that stuff. he even had a lock on his wardrobe as I knicked his jeans all the time Laughing

Those where the day when there was nothing to worry about.

I dont remember Nasa jackets.

But i do recall when everbody was wearing Nevica ski-jackets, they used to have the whistle and compass in a little pocket on the front, They also had some sort of locator that was stiched into the arm for when you got trapped in an avalanche that used to set the shop alarms off when you walked in and out the through the sensors.

I was stood at the petrol station at 7.30am Monday morning filling a van with diesel and generally feeling like crap. Next thing, a bloke pulls up with some belting happy hardcore playing on his car stereo, and suddenly I'm smiling. I think it was something really cheesy like "Forever Young" but still, what a great way to start the week.
