paid for it yesterday £3500 Very Happy had a dent on the tank and scuffed right fairing not bad.

wont be picking it up until next week as it needs to be mot'd and taxed.

Am i fuck! its a road/trackbike the bloke selling it is living in singapore and needed the money.
04 R1s normally go for a 1-1.5k more than that so think I done well.

lol, im not stupid to fall for a scam, since the bloke who has his hands on it is a local mechanic that I've known for over 7 years who I gave the money too then got given back a set of keys and v5, i just need to pick up the beast once im ready.

which isnt gonna be for over a week now as there is a great big skip in my driveway.

here are the photos, handling is sublime, the motor is peaky, i can crack open the throttle in first and the it give me a very nice amount of torque and pull without the front lifting, when you hit 8k you friggin know about it.

that was how it was labelled when bought from Phase one couple of years ago, no one knows whats been done to it to be sure its just one of the engines that they were gonna use.
it was bought through one of the focused events instructor who knew the team.

I have no idea how the dent got there like it did. apparently the wheels were fucked also from hitting the curb when the prevous owner was knocked off, i think the dent is from the handlebars hitting it.

for £3500 im not complaining

well just had a quick spin from my yard to brighton and back.
the bike is awesome,demands alot of concentration , incredibly planted, good flickability with excellent turn in. not a silky smooth ride as my dads tuono that I rode last year but a very good all round package.

now does anyone wanna buy my srad750?
