Riding after LASIK laser eye surgery?

for anyone who has had LASIK surgery, how long did you wait prior to riding?

when i originally booked my appointment i was told 24/48hrs, on the day i was told 2-3k weeks.

on reading literature on the subject you can't swim for at least 2wks which IMO must offer a greater chance of lifting the corneal flap than riding in a full face lid.

anyway, how long have others waited?

You only get one pair of eyes....

Only needs one good blast of air on the eye to flip the flap.
Swimming will be because of the chemicals used in the pools or the pollution in the sea.

To be honest your eyes will be as dry as a pharaoh's oxster after the surgery and unless you want to stop every 5 minutes to put in drops you're as well leaving it a while.
