I hate that kinda crap in the news. "The reaction of staff helped save lives"

They turned the pump off. Big fucking deal. You wouldn't exactly expect the goons to turn all the pumps on.

These stories always have to have "heros" even when no one does anything remotely fucking heroic!

I would hazard a guess at the pump it was next to not being in tip top condition after that either
and i bet they arent cheap, as they must have to be built to pass a fair few safety tests. 1 of which withstanding fire for so many minutes Smile

To be fair the staff could have just legged it out of the back door and have been gone. Fire and petrol station = bad Smile

Dunno, I can imagine a petrol pump costing £19'995, and the kid probably pumped a couple of quids worth of fuel. Leaves plenty for the ped

don't forget to include the cost of replacing the sand bucket that is usually next to the pump, mind if that cost £1.99 there will still be enough left from the fiver for the ped Laughing

One less ped on the road to be ridden by a chav

20 grand ped - "yes Carole Nash, it was 20 grand.. can I just have the cash back though?" or "yeah its 20 grand BBC because i put a powerpipe on it and its an aerox, so it does 6003 MPH."

yeah petrol got spilt on the hot exhaust.

Nobody thinks of these things when they build peds.
'Lets put the petrol tank under the seat just above the exhaust that would be mounted on the right hand side.'

Well the person whos ped it was wasnt very clever, filling it up from the right hand side. All it takes is a spill from the nozzle onto the exhaust.
And theres alot of plastic to melt on peds Laughing

But its all worth the £20,000 lmao Laughing

Is it really that dangerous though? Like a tiny amount of petrol drips onto the exhaust, and an explosion is the result? Because I've never really thought of that, although I cant remember ever dripping petrol onto the exhaust.

Thankss Smile
