Not for me but does anyone know how to protect centre parts of the wheels where spindles/ bearings go? Thought of tape but surely if it takes paint off it will have no problem with tape?

if the operator is any good its not a real issue..but the usual trick is a bit of m6 or m8 studding or long bolt and some large washers on either side. you can buy studding (threaded bar) in meter lengths at B+Q and the like!! takes 2 mins

If you're just taking the paint off, I was amazed at how effective nitromorse is.
