Bought this for £1000. Last owner came off it and left it standing for a while. Was in quite a state when I bought it.

Nothing a bit of T-cut Colour Wax and a black marker couldn't fix.

List of parts needed:
Front + Rear Sprockets (Worn) Ordered
Chain (Snapped which caused last accident) Ordered
Battery (Dead from standing for long time) Ordered
2x Left Side Indicators (Damaged from crash) FITTED
Magneto Cover (Cracked)
Chain Guard (Missing)
Pillion Seat (Needs Recovering)
Number Plate (Last owners one was ridiculously small)
Grips (Pretty Worn) Ordered
Brake Bleeding Kit (Need doing) Ordered

Done 9631 Miles so may be due a rebuild soon.

Video of it running from last owner : https://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=8Opl52ttKfI

I am going to get a red rear pillion seat as seen on Spain's No1 RS50's.

I think I have my work cut out with this one to be honest. Should be interesting and I will update with new information and higher res images.

Look forward to seeing you sort it out mate. If funds allow... Please get the wheels sprayed lol. Really have no idea why Aprilia made a red and black bike then put blue wheels on it. Should look good in Black?

Or you could try something different like a black front wheel and a red rear?

Yeah I can't really afford it myself but I'm hoping I won't lose any money on it so I can then still get a decent bigger bike. I think 1k is pretty cheap.

Yeah, I actually like blue wheels. Think it looks alright personally. I suppose it's a matter of opinion. Better than white wheels on a ped IMO

Very Happy I might follow in Luke VFR fashion as I've seen some headlight tint covers for the day.

Considering keeping this bike for a bit longer and making it quite quick.

Airsal 80cc
Special offer: from €. 199.50 for €. 179.50

https://www.opvoeren.nl/shop/plaatjes/Afbeelding%20255.jpg

Dellorto PHBG 21DS
€68.50

https://www.opvoeren.nl/shop/plaatjes/kuro2.jpg

If I were to get this stuff I'd be keeping the bike until the end of the next school year.

You can probably get it going around 80mph if your lucky but it'll be tempremental.

Personally i'd keep it but tune it without using a bike bore kit, they arn't that good.

They are dam exspensive too.

Tune up this RS an it means you can put the stuff on the RS125., which are much better.

but it's only my opinion, but tuning 50cc bikes/peds is a waste of time.

Yeah

I understand. 200 Notes for a big bore kit and 21mm carb.

Much better saved, or spent on some shiny boots Smile

https://www.metricbikes-superstore.com/images/updated_corsa_white.bmp

Smile

Or helmet obviously.

Personally i'd sort out the paint, sort out the rear end, as even though that zorst is cool coming from under the seat, it isn't a nice can, so see if you can sort that out, an maybe a tail tidy + rear lights/indicators?

An get it mechanically sound.

If you start messing with the engine, like a big bore kit, you loose the reliability facter, and personally for an extra 15mph i don't think it's worth it.

That 50cc should do 65mph with full derestriction, my mates TZR did with a leo vince can.

Please don't take this the wrong way... But you say it's only a 50cc as do many others and people take the piss etc.. But to us 16 year olds, a 50cc is our pride and joy.. I ride a moped which many people laugh at because its a 50.. But i love it to bits. End of the day.. we love your bike just as much as others love there bigger bikes.. Yet we get slated etc for it because we are young/low cc lol.

I'm not slating you riding a 50cc i only sold mine a week ago mate.

But there's no poiint spending lots of cash on one because there's very little advantages to it.

Unless you spend your cash wisely and pick modifications that will effect the machine proformance without reducing it's reliability, as 50cc are quite fragile once you start tickering.

My ludix took very little maintenance but it had no mods.

What's the point kitting out a scooter spending thousands when you'll never get the money back on it.

Spend a little money tarting it out, an then stop.

An save for a 125cc, if you spend less on a 50cc it means you'll have even more when you want to buy the new Yamaha R125 etc.

I think the best 50cc to spend money on is the RS50 because you'll be able to fit the mods to a RS125 of the same age etc, which is cool, an means not so much money is wasted.

I'm not slating 50cc, as they're the first bikes people ride and start the passion for bikes off.

It's just it's abit silly spending lots of cash when you'll never regain much of it.

Know what you mean mate. Smile I didn't mean anything by it.

I've just noticed how people make comments about them etc. Slightly annoying as at 16 we can ride shit all else lol.

Thumbs Up

I'd just get it road worthy and leave the paint the way it is. Afterall if you resprayed it and then binned it you're going to be really pissed off then.

Nice bike though. A step up from the Sachs Thumbs Up

No parts arrived today. Went London Motor Show and got some £60 AutoGlym kit for signing up to a £20 magazine subscription. Should clean up the bike well.

Also why is everyone saying sort paint out?

The smaller pics are before pictures. The bigger ones are the after pictures of when I touched up marks.
