Im booking my test like asap because i've been lazy with my time and i'm well overdue but gonna fit in lessons as well to see if i have picked up bad habits, not picked up good habits and to get a wee feel of how it will be under scrutiny.

As long as your booking because you feel confident enough to pass and not to get in before the new test comes out cos if it's this that's making you hasty then maybe you need more time.

I think like there doing us a favour by giving us a test (obviously ignoring the ££££ part) cos like i said if you feel confident enough you will hopefully expect to pass.

When you do you will not have to bother about time running out on the old CBT and having to participate, again, with the complete scam of having to redo the CBT at the same bloody price even though were more than qualified regarding the required ''compulsory training''. Lost times of how often i've ranted about that...

Don't lose sleep over it:

Write a list of what you do well, improve on the said list. Swallow anything you do wrong graciously and make a point of going out and correcting it. What more can you do now but Get a good nights sleep!

Take care x

I don't think that is true. If someone cancels after the end of July that slot is then empty, test centres will want to fill it to get money so I really doubt that they won't let you re-book.

my test is on the 8th and the only thing thats keeping me from shaking is the fact that I love biking, it's what I do and I WANT to pass the test so.. yea.. I'll probably be nervous, well I will be nervous lol, but I'll get into it and everything will be ok when I start riding on the test Thumbs Up hopefully anyway lol

just keep revising the questions and practise riding until you feel comfortable Mr. Green

The first time I read that I didn't read it as walking, it was close but it certainly wasn't walking.

Try to relax?

You won't be able to do anything until then.. Try not to think of it as such a big thing and more of a little thing..

Funny sir how you always seem to find yourself in an Alliance-friendly bar come "U" day...looking for a quiet drink.

Ride just like you do on your training days Very Happy I tried the D.A.S and failed on U-turn so I thought I would just try my hand at the A2 license and I did it! My advice to you is enjoy it, you know how when you pass your car test and you have been driving around for ages you get quite confident knowing that the car test was actually pretty easy stuff after all, try and have that same thought for the bike test. You CAN pass it and you will, Remember with the new test coming in the examiners want you to pass NOW!

One last thing, even if you think you have stuffed up on the 1st corner like I thought I had, keep riding as though you have passed and you will no matter what little mistake you make its totally fine because the examiner isnt expecting perfect riding! They just dont want dangerous riding, you are perfectly capable of passing and you will!

Make sure you think like you have passed like the car thing.

You know what I mean?

Very Happy oh and if youre like me you'd pray!

When I did my test, I was a bag of nerves.
The DAS training was fun, always had me in some sort of laughter over the intercom.
When it came to my test, I was sat waiting for over 2 hours and the nerves got worse.
Best advice I can give, and I gave to my OH who passed is to relax.
The first minors from what I hear are just from leaving the test center - Two, whom have spoke to me about and have failed.
Just because they were so nervious - and didnt pay atention.
So, for my tip is relax - and take extra caution on leaving the test center (Mine was a major road) so make sure each end is clear.

How many minore are you allowed?

This is true I phoned 'Quickstart' and i'm in there waiting list.
It's also easier for them to fit you in if you already have CBT/theory certs.

15 overall, and no more than two in any single subcategory.

Here is my Test Report after passing last month, shows what the categories are. I got 2 minors, observation at junctions and awareness/planning.

Sections 29 to 32 are for anything the examiner feels falls outside the acceptable standard of driving, but aren't covered in the above catagories...
