 |
|
Currently looking at quotes to insure my first ever bike.
Bike in question is a 2004 Suzuki SV650S, 5000 miles on the clock, worth around £3000. I have 0 riding ability, but 7 years driving, 2 yrs car NCD, clean history.
Various comparison websites have brought back fully-comp quotes of £600-700 pounds (with excess of £200-£300), however BikeSure/Adrian flux have quoted me ~£225 with an excess of £200.
Is this normal to have such huge gap between premiums? Should be be wary of this quote? ____________________ Say, do you have any Gatorade? I'm afraid I left all my electrolytes with your daughter.
Current bike: SV650S K8 |

Remember you can't use the NCB on both car and bike....
If all other details are correct i would see how much it is with a lower excess.
Remember you have a compulsory excess of £100 or £150 to start with, so if they adding on top, it will effect any payout and the savings don't match the increase in excess. ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |

Not at the same time....
Like i have 9+ years on a car, but i can't use it on both bike and car.
So its used on the car, and i now have 2 years on the bike. that i have built up on that.
Also remember that if you have had a gap away from any insurance. Any NCB you had before may have ceased to be valid. ____________________ Just because my bike was A DIVVY, does not mean i am...... |
