My second son Jamie was born on friday at 3 he weighed in at 7lb 3.

His first 2 operations have gone well and he seems to have atleast some feeling in his legs which is a good sign tickling his feet gets a good reaction.

He's still in intensive care but the doctors say he's doing better than expected.

The big downside is that he looks just like me. Confused

Well condensed into a short explanation my girlfriend was taken to hospital with an ectopic pregnancy last year they removed the baby but failed to realise that she was carrying twins, we found this out 4 months later.

I dont know if the operation had anything to do with it but he was diagnosed with spina-bifida and hydrocephalus awhile ago.

As soon as he was born he had to have an operation to close a hole in his back and then another to put a shunt in place.

He has 2 more operations to go and then we just have to see if he carries on making good progress.
