Spotted this earlier on the rear disc, there are also 2 other smaller ones, how do these occur?

when it comes to brakes it always worth being as safe as possible, i'd replace them

I'd say it was due to the heat/cooling cycle that brakes go though and it's just got brittle.
I'd replace it asap.

I'd replace that too, and i'm a stingy bastard.

It'll fail an MOT like that so you'll have to replace it sooner or later.

does anyone know where i can get a decent disk from?
i've only managed to find this

Why are some rear disks 30 quid and some over 200 quid? Shocked

can i get away with a cheap one or are they made out of cardboard ?

I would personally buy a second hand one as they are so expensive new you should be able to get one for £20 off a broken bike.

Have to agree as its only your back brake so it does not get as much use it may be worth checking your calliper is all free whilst you have it striped out as it looks as though it may have got over hot coursing it to over heat and crack.

Hmm little out of my price range anything above 100 quid, if i can't find anything i'll try a breakers and get a normal one cheap and get a tarty one later on.
