when I buy an aftermarket undertray, does it come with a battery tray?

OR, do I need to cut down the standard one?

OR, does the aftermarket one just fit straight under the standard one?

Also, if anyone has a picture of the compartment under the pillion seat on a 98-02 R6 I would much appreciate it.

I'm using an R6 seat unit on my bike project, hence me not knowing much about them
Cheers Thumbs Up

That'll be a pain to fit on a 99 under tray, so you'll need a 01-02 under tray. They might include it. It's after market so I have no idea. Ask whoever you're buying it off. Personally I'd stick with the official Yamaha under tray as it looks so much better. Wink

ok cheers.how do the undertrays differ between 99 and 01? Because the plastics are the same.Sorry, I dont know much.
Have you got a link/price for the official yamaha one?

Been reading your thread about the gearbox change. The bike looks amazing. Best R6 Ive ever seen, but you dont need me to tell you that lol.

sweet. so ideally, I want an 02 battery tray and then then proper undertray. I shal have to see if any of the aftermarket ones fit over this battery tray. I'll look in to the original yamaha undertray too.

anymore plans for the R6 now?

Hey i got the offical 01-02 undertray for my 2000 r6 and it looks so much better. Didnt take too much fitting. All i got was the battary tray, Undertray, LED lights and tail tidy. You wont need a new battary.
