Sold my 125 less than a week ago and Im really missing having a bike and having to use the boring car Laughing

Both of these bikes are for sale locally £1295

SUZUKI GS500 500cc 1997 R Reg 16500 miles 12 months MOT includes top box

Not really much in it, i looked at both of these before deciding on a cheap 600, but personally i prefer the look of the GS500

Well I'd have the Er-5, looks nicer IMO. What do you want from it? Whats important to you in a bike?

I prefer the look of the suzuki over the er5 and it would be good for touring with the fairing etc which i intend to do, but the er5 is quite a bit newer and having already riden one know they are easy to ride. Another couple of weeks and I'll have the money to get a bike, both of these may have sold be then. I would also consider the cb500 or similar but all depends whats available in my area. Fuel economy is also important, my 125 did 250 miles for £10 of unleaded but obviously a 500 wont be anywhere near that Laughing
