engine rattle on zx6r b1h ?

only had the bike a few weeks now, but when i have been out on it i have noticed the rattle on the engine, not a loud one but ya can notice it, and when you pull the clutch in it stops??? mite just be like this on all zx6r s i dont know but im guessing if it stops when the clutch is pulled its summin to do with that?

not wanting to alarm you as it could be something simple but....

My friend had a rattle that stopped when the clutch was pulled in. it was investigated. first clutch, nope. gearbox, dont think so but they replaced it under warranty. didnt solve it so a new engine was fitted under warranty. this was after 8k! He did like the odd wheelie though

its not its one of the bearings on the clutch

the zxr400 is worst for it

you can replace the bearing but about 2 seconds after you first run it it will be that same again

nothing to worry about
