you would buy a neon kit off ebay or a shop or somewhere. open it, read instructions, fit as it says, plug wires into battery and a switch somewhere, then turn on.

But in all honesty, just don't.

Simply instructions:

1. Get a can of petrol, pour it over the moped.
2. Get a match, light it and throw it on the moped.

Warning: Only works once, but boy everyone will notice your ped then! Laughing

Find somewhere that's not too hot, and does't get too dirty on the bike, you need to hide it so that the tube can't be seen, only the light emitting from it, I'd probably use cable ties, you could probably just wire a switch up to it and mount it something accessible but inconspicuous so you can turn it on and off.

Don't forget you're restricted to what colours you can use, I'd avoid using Blue, Red, Green, Amber.

It's really easy actually... You just plug it straight into the battery, but then it's on permanent, so you get a switch between one end of the neon wires and the battery terminal. Put the switch somewhere where it can't be seen, but is easily accessible. If people turn it on your battery will be gone...
And I'm not sure about the UK but in Spain they're illegal hence the easy to reach switch

A bit easier is to wire it up to your headlight or tail light so that people can't drain your battery but also wire the switch in so you can turn the neon off if you don't want it on.

It's a laugh, in that everyone who sees it with neons on will piss themselves laughing at you. No one thinks that they're cool apart from the Max Power lot, and they're a bit of a joke to society as well. Smile

There's so many better things to spend your money on, like petrol.
