hi i have a cagiva mito and i was wandering if anyone has had any problems with there electrics because mine have just gone dead and it is really ennoying any ideas would be appreciated Sad

Is the battery charged? If so then check the cables on the battery are still attached and haven't snapped. Happend to my NSR a while ago. The copper cables on the battery turned to a green mould and then broke off.

i can get the neutral and oil light to come on if i jiggle the wires about but then if you press the horn or try to put the lights on it just goes dead again and seem to be getting no power to power valve

Definetely sounds like the battery could do with a good charge. If still no luck then maybe a new battery might help.

just had a new battery on it recently when it went for service any more suggestions

Your battery may not be gone but just flat.

Just hook it up to a car (jump leads) before you go out and buy a new battery. Also could be the fuse but unlikely as you are getting power occasionally.

at last found out the problem after taking it to bits yesterday i was checking all wires and plugs and one plug had got water into it and 4 connecters were corroded so just bi passed the wires pluged it back in and hey presto it works Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

You sure that's OK on a Mito? They could be 6V batteries. I'm not sure about that though, but I do know that some bikes are 6V.
