Sold my R6 for something more practical. Been looking at CBR600F's as a commuter and for a blast at weekends whilst being comfy and being 2 up most times and now have been offered a:

Honda CBR600F
2001
Colour Black
Mileage 25255
Registration Y

My only concern is the mileage seems high. Would the mileage put you of buying it? or should I just go ahead, buy the bike and have some fun ignoring the mileage....

My 1993 CBR has 34k on it now and the engine sounds great. no odd noises or unsettling knocks.

Providing its been treated well with regular oil and filter changes then it should be fine.

CBR's seem to be built to last and from i've read need to be seriously mistreated before they go bang.

You think a 7 year old bike with 25k is high Laughing

It's a honda it should be still going at double that.

CBR600F s run forever there are a few youtube videos online showing the odometer going over 100,000K...

They just need new CCTs , reg/rec and valves done on schedule.

Things to look out for though:

CCT, listen for any rough noises on CBRs they are weak!.

Holes in the zorst CBR600F come with mild steel pipes as stock , around the joins where all 4 pipes collect into one around there you get holes its a £200 repair.
