Teenager injured on stolen bike

A teenager was seriously hurt when the stolen motorbike he was riding crashed into railings on a road in South Yorkshire.

The 17-year-old local youth, who was not wearing a helmet, was riding a Honda 125 on Prince of Wales Avenue, Sheffield when he crashed on Saturday.

The youth was taken to hospital with a fractured skull and internal injuries after being thrown from the bike.

Police have asked that any witnesses to the crash contact them.

What do we think he will get punished with? Suspended sentence? Community service? A fine?

i've just had an idea (rare for me but..)

if a thief is caught why can't the insurance companies sue them for there losses ?

anyway thieving people deserve everything they get, i'm with the gods on this one.

They can, just as the insured could sue them for the losses themselves rather than claiming, or claim and sue for the loss of no claims.

Getting the money out of them is the difficult bit.

All the best

For once a bmw driver did it nearly right... Wink

Like the idea of sueing, but the tought of getting a few p a week out of the scroat ain't going ot work and then after a couple of weeks they will stop paying.

Sueing DOES NOT work, i had my moped stolen from a feild by about 6-7 chavs, was just chilling there with a few of my friends and some girls messing around playing some friendly rugby etc. just got it all done up ready to sell and the scrotes threatened to bottle us and nicked the bike (theres only 2 of us and that many of them, so we took off sharpish as we like being alive) it ended up going to court and we were 'supposed' to get compensation for damages etc. and didnt receive a penny.

Sueing will never work properly as people dont have the money now-a-days and if the money came from somewhere, it would just come right out of our pockets so seems a bit pointless.

The little scrote should suffer and i hope hes put in a wheel-chair and dribbles etc. so people can take the piss out of him as he probably has done to other disabled people, serves the fvcker right! Evil or Very Mad

No sympathy for him.

He shouldn't have stolen the bike in the first place as he obviously had no idea how to ride it, hence his accident.

What I can't understand is why, at 17, he hadn't saved up for his own bike? Still, I suppose it's easier and cheaper to take something that someone else has saved up for.

Hope he has a slow, long and painful road to recovery...and I hope he carries the scars of his accident, be they physical, mental or emotional, for the rest of his life and that those scars remind him painfully of his actions for each and every day of his life.

It's all down to a fundamental lack of respect. These pathetic chavs have never worked for anything, they probably come from a home with parents who have never worked for anything!

Because their plasma TV's and sky subscriptions are all payed for by the government, they have no concept of the hard work involved in getting nice things (motorbikes, cars, PS3's etc) and therefore have no sense of decency... they see something they want and just take it, they are incapable of understanding the effect it has on none ASBO'd members of society.

I say let the theiving little thug die, he has no respect for law abiding honest people, so why should we show any respect for him! It really makes my blood boil when I here about scumbags like this getting away with suspended sentences and community orders! Cut off their benefits, stick them in a poor house if they can't pay for their own house and curfew them so that if they're not at work, they're at home out of trouble (perfectly feasable given tagging technologies).

Love this news story... like the title of this thread suggests, karma does do it's thing every now and then!

You know when you go to a shop to buy something and you see all the choices of stuff to buy lined up for you?

Well, that's your street to this type of scum. Without the buying part, obviously.

I hope the little gobshite contracts c-diff and mrsa...

I have successfully. Cool

when I was 17 I was knocked of a crosser(fully legal) by some similar youth and he beat me up for it(the bike), although I got on the bike(bit bruised, like) and rode off. Went through police and he ended up paying me £40 pus getting a few weeks' community service.

Also, getting done for ABH he now has a note-able criminal record so employment will be easy...

Hm, thinking about it, maybe(or not, as the case maybe). Laughing

I went through witness things and all sorts, admittedly didn't attend his court appearance or anything.

if were lucky the little cunt will have crushed both is nuts on the way off the bike and wont be able to reproduce. Little basterd wont learn 1 little thing, just how to not fall off the next bike he steals.

In addition to putting the owners insurance up, he has several weeks of fighting to get the money for a new bike and also the problems with his employment if he is missing work, The little prick who took it is in hospital, meaning we are all paying for his treatment, plus the car driver envolved may also need to claim from his insurance.

I recon somone needs to go sort the little cunt out, Make sure theres no lead left in his pencil and hes not going to die imminently then get him the fook out of the hospital I pay for!

I wander if you can do something like with that special ant poison stuff, where it gets on their bodys and they pass it on back to the nest, that would be very useful for the chav problem in this country, maybe I could sneak some of the stuff onto my local MP aswell and sort out the other great failure of 'great' briton.

And to boot , this will be a "motorcylce accident" and could contribute to anti-bike policies in the future.

Only problem with that is he'll likely then get disability benefit for the rest of his life at the expense of the tax payer (I'm not having a go at people legitimately claiming benefit)
