that has got to be the best stretch of road in the uk.

dont know why i haven't been till now Rolling Eyes

there were some crafty coppers about hiding behind signs etc but was well warned by other bikers before i got to em which was nice.
also the cars get in the way a bit at parts but its to be expected i suppose.

would be mega if they closed it off for a day or two annually for time trails and races etc...(if they dont already)

Was brilliant fun, a lot of gearbox work.

Was up there today as well, not been there before. It's a quality road, that first section with the group of short S bends one after the next was perhaps the most fun ive had all year. Shame about the plod, i semi expected them to be around in full force anyway especially with it being a nice day and with its notorious reputation as the most dangerous road in the UK.

wow you did cheshire police favorite anti bike road on a dry bank holiday weekend? talk about asking for trouble!
i love the whole of the c and f and ive found that in a car its best in the dark in the early hours you get a free run with no bikes slowing you down on the corners.
on a bike its best at dawn on a summer morning, plod isnt awake, caravans are still parked up and cars are few and far between.
during the day its just crap, you might get a couple of free corners.
derbyshire has some way better roads than the c'n'f .
spent the day finding roads ive never seen and only saw 2 marked cars and 1 unmarked,a few cameras in vilages (no problem)and 50mph speed limits but who takes any notice of them?
another good day out.

did you see how his car was stashed down the narrow side road behind the wall and then he was crouched down next to a yellow chevron sign peeking from behind that wall with his camera.

crafty twat Confused

Yup he was pretty well hidden, there was a green scamera van on the stretch towards buxton too. Looked like a battered old transit from the outside but whilst you approached you could see those stupid half cut window in the back.

I think the Yorkshire TT is better its north out of Squires and ends around Thirsk , IIRC there are only 5 places cops can get you 4 north 3 south.

Problem is its 2 hours on the motorway to get home which isn't very interesting.

Yeah, we did the Helmsley to Stokesley road yesterday. About 10ish and there was only a couple of cars in the 19 mile stretch and no police.

Although I think the Hawes to Ingleton road is better than both.

Yeah I saw that cunt. Worryingly I didn't see any copper on the Cat and Fiddle but hopefully he just wasn't around at the time I was up there.

Macclesfield hospital do some lovely B&B. You can do a weeks stay all inclusive too.
Yep sometimes you can get too close to those walls, fields, sheep.

Still the C&F is a brilliant road.

I got caught by that c*nt, I won't go into detail about it.

I rode back to the fiddle waving a lot of bikers to tell them about it, hopefully saving a few licences.
