Chances are its restricted to 30 mph, as per the learner law.
Im not sure how they are restricted but im guessing someone will be along soon with more of an idea.
What kind of speed are you getting out of it?

to be honest mate i don't fancy a bore kit they put too much strain on bottom end they just cannot take it were as a pipe doesn't put too much strain on bottom end just need to find a decent pipe any ideas?
i have heard the metrekit pipe system is a really good one what you think?

cheers

metrakit are a decent makebut id find some dynio graphs before making a purchase different pipes can make a massive difference

bore kit shouldnt put a massive strain on the bottom end , at the end of the day it only takes as much strain as you rag it

they all make the same really,
theres not huge gains or noticeable gains with a measureable speed with them really, just go for a big name, and get the jetting right

my bad Embarassed

they do make a difference , you want one that works well at lower rev ranges if your using it on the standard barrel, the leo vinci should be ok for that but have nver been a good brand in my opinion , there scooter pipers were wank aswell, but on a standard barrel it will be fine

Tbh ive never heard of a yasuni...
i searched a few names id heard of, and had mates with them.
and what are you on about with standard barell, a bigger bore/barell will give you more power across the range as its in theory making the cylinder 80cc size and not 50cc. how is that going to make power better low down on either size?

different pipes have differnt gains at different revs, high end racing pipes have big gains at high revs and low end pipes are the other way round

i didnt mention anything about a 80cc barrel are you trippin balls ?

Thats not really true
all 50 exhausts ive seen so far are designed for the powerband, to make the most amount of exhaust gas to help with back pressure.

Besides, metrakit is also a good brand also good if you want to buy a metrakit 21mm carb to make it faster that way too.

it is true

21mm carb will be a waste on the standard barrel

if you are fitting an exhaust andy dont forget to upjet, 5% upjet should do it

My Derbi Senda (admittedly with the restriction knocked out) used to kick out about 55mph on a good day on the flat.

That was a 2003 model Derbi Senda R (the offroad version, on knobblies).

I went to bike-spares.co.uk for my Senda bits

But i never put a pipe or fuck all on it, it did about 55 flat to the tits (2005 sm50)

I just left it and used it for stoppies. Laughing
