a perfect road layout i've just found Smile

and its just down the road from where i work so lunch time fun providing it stays dry.

All the crawling over maps to find a good run and bingo took a wrong turn and woohoo.

It has a really long almost 300 deg left nicely banked off slip which leads into a large roundabout then onto a dual carriageway. down the slip road and a 270 deg right hander.

Sorry just hand to tell someone as the office staff just reached for the yellow pages for lunatic asylums.

Pass that by me again?

Your perfect road is a sliproad, followed by a dual carriageway, followed by a roundabout, followed by another slip road? Confused [Edit: but not neccessarily in that order! Embarassed ]

Are you sure about this? Shocked

only for a lunchtime jolly.

yep sounds a bit crazy when you say it like that but theres sod all decent corners round here.
its a dual carriageway which has really good curved slip roads off it so great for getting a feel for the bike when its lent over both ways.

i usualy have to travel 30 miles just to get to open roads so its great for quick hoon.

Watch out for diesel, that run sounds pretty much ideal for spills. Also, on that long left hander I'm betting that there is a load of shit on the outside part of the lane, just in the right place to catch you out if you go in a little hot and run wide.

Very good point and i did a slow run first to check for just that. It's not long been resurfaced so no cracking or splitting especially at the join.

That is one of the main problems round here and has ruined the few long corners.

Yorkshire Dales........if only Sad

maybe one day i'll take a trip up that way......one day

Well I am even luckier then, not too far from the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales and there are some pretty fantastic roads 15 miles from me too Laughing
