OK, so for a while i've been looking at a DT125 as i can use it on and off road, but how will it perform with green laneing?

I'm getting edged more towards a sporty bike and looked at the NSR, Mito and RS125, but which is the best outta these 3?

Failing all that, is there a 200/250/300cc thats a good bike (sports or enduro) and fits the 33bhp requirements?

I dont wanna go along the lines of restricting the machine, just want something i can buy and ride till i learn my skills and can get a bigger machine. What ever i get it will be new, hence price isnt the issue. All ideas welcomed.

You may as well get a bigger bike and have it restricted because at the end of the day when you come to take the restrictors out you have a whole different bike again instead of having to buy a new bike.

IMHO, If your going between the RS125, NSR & Mito, and want to learn for a bigger bike, the RS125 will probably be too light, the mito is nice for getting used to a bit more weight, still has a lot of the speed etc, and the NSR, I cant say about, I haven't ridden one.

Personally if you're going to get a bigger bike later on, i'd steer clear of the RS, (that is just my opinion tho, others might disagree)

CBR 400RR! reliable, handles well and look good!! Why look any further? Also hold their value if treated well!

Yeah I know - I am obsessed with my bike! but that isnt a bad thing. Mine isnt restricted, but from what I have heard as a first bike, even restricted, it is great. And many people start with the 400s and end up keeping them for much longer than planned!!

yea dude! If you can afford a DT125 i'm envious. I reckon trailies are brilliant 125s - especially first time bikes. I had to go different and get a a TW125 (can you feel the hatred for that bike). However, saying that, I love mine hehe Smile
