Well it's a 2 stroke 125, so won't have much power low down. Most of it comes in after 7krpm |

If you want to pull away faster, rev higher and use more clutch. (ie. let it slip a bit more while revving high). ____________________ Current bike: VTR1000F Firestorm. Previous: Firestorm (written off) - XJ600 Divvy - NSR125 - DT125 and a load of offroaders. |

I dunno if I ever even used <4k rpm on my nsr . The usual technique for pulling away is redline it, then slip the clutch until you have to change up . |

Check that the little rubber gromet on the airbox intake is still there, it sounds like you're describing what mine & zim's were like when we briefly removed them (don't bother, by the way, it just makes them louder and does nothing for power). ____________________ 3516 Miles, 11 Countries |
