I've seen it on other sites and haven't seen it on here. I did a search for it but haven't seen any attempts beforehand.

Thought I'd give it a go and just posting to see if anyone thinks it's a good idea to use members bikes to create a monthly wallpaper for members to use?

So I just knocked together some wallpapers from images off of the forums just to show people what they would look like.

Graham88 : 1280x1024
Wave2k : 1280x1024
Big_Ham : 1280x1024

If people actually wanted this I would do the wallpapers in any resolution requested.

Also would you want anything else on them?

User Name and Bike Model? Month Name? Mini Calendar?

Fnatic.

Can we only have bikes, and not naked pix of Bonny Ricardo and Stinkwheel, then?

A random picture with a logo splatted on top does not a good wall paper make.

A good start is to have a decently sized defuse area that you can place icons - if you're doing a series this should be in the same place each time.
For the rest, you can do your own research Smile.

everyone can submit their photo's, and it could then go to vote as to which one becomes that months wallpaper.

Right I've tried to take everyone's ideas on board by using a stunty picture with a vast area of blandness for icons ect.

Icons, you don't need icons Mr. Green

Then you can see your wallpaper Thumbs Up

P.S. My taskbar does drop down.

And what's going to get the most votes, another picture of the latest plastic bike Rolling Eyes *Yawn*

Oh look, it's Luke's R6 again...and again...and again.

Can't hurt to try but if I want wallpaper of someone I don't know then I go to one of the zillion sites that have a massive selection to choose from.

The idea is to have something interesting, average leaning on a track *yawn* GSXR doing anything other than exploding *zzzzzzzzz* 50cc Chinese scooter launched off a humpback bridge with the rider standing on the seat with their arms in a crucifixion style wearing a batman costume *!*

Not legal for the road on a bike though?

Check out Bandit lids, they're exactly the same thing but comply to the UK safety standards.

That one is road legal.

It's the Simpson Diamondback used by the Stig which is only for track use?
