recently fitted set of sc 2's but the front seems to be tearing itself up after one track day Sad back is wearing fairly smooth

Only reason i can think of is the guy who fitted them put 29 in the front and 31 in the back or is it something like cold tear ?

any ideas, don't want to go messing with suspension again as it feels pretty good but if it keeps wearing like it is I'll be replacing it before the back ..

What are your pressures when hot?
I've recently been running sc1 rear - sc0 front at mid inters group pace with no problems with this sort of pattern. I run around 33psi with tyre warmers on.
I've got some scrubs if your interested in trying this set up.

didn't check when hot, should get back to the track next week so will try 31 front and 30 rear when cold, will see if that sorts it.

Tires should go up 3 psi when hot ? is that right ? say if they go up higher would that mean they are overheating ??

btw what exactly is cold tear ? I ride in thailand and the track is blistering hot so can't see cold rubber being the problem (if thats what cold tear means Confused )

just dug my fingernail into the rubber, didn't realise how soft the sc2's were , not sure yet if this a good thing or not depending how long they'll last Neutral
