One of my discs is a bit bent so I'll need a new one. I've had a quote from a breakers for £95 a pair but I've managed to get that down to £78. He asked me a few times why I specified non cast disks in the breaker search thingy as apparently cast disks are superior (and cheaper) in all but looks?
My old GPz was terrible for it's disks rusting and it discolored the front tyre after a while so I don't really want to go for them if it's going to do the same.
Any thoughts? Does £78 for a pair seem reasonable?
Cheers,

Hi
Cast iron disks tend to work better but rust VERY quickly compared to steel disks. You also often have problems with the pads sticking to the disks if you park it when wet (not too much of a problem with the Bimota with fully floating disks, but a real pain on the FZ).
Think I paid £25 each for new cast iron disks for the FZ750 from Busters when they were having a clearance.
All the best
