I bet there are about five bikes in the UK with that branding. Each crate from china seems to contain a bike of a different brand.
Sanya, Lifan, Skyjet, Kijouma, the list is endless... ____________________ British beauty: Triumph Street Triple R; Loony stroker: KR1S; Track fun: GSXR750 L1; Commuter Missile: GSX-S1000F; Cheap project: CBR900RR FireBlade
Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another. |

Yes, made in China by non-Chinese metal with non-Chinese materials.
Ok my mate bought a Skyco 125 (supposed to be one of the "good" ones) and so far the front break disc has warped, exhasut is falling off, he bent the gear selector by changing gear too hard and the engine is eating itself, it sounds shat. He has had it 2 weeks. ____________________ Don't practice it until you get it right, practice it until you don't get it wrong.

I am not saying every Chinese bike is crap, just most of them.
Some models are starting to mature, but they still have some time to go.
I know Jinlun is generally starting to become more accepted as a quality bike that is more reliable than it was however it still has problems. I was standing outstide a Honda Dealer last week when the 250cc pulled up and I was quite impressed by the design and quality.
However when you see bikes like the Kaisar 125 selling for as little as £899.00 against the likes of a CBR 125 at £2,650 or my own Kymco at £2,600 then its obvious quality is suffering.
As Moonie says, yes many parts are made in China these days for Honda, Kawa, Suzy and others but they are made to much more stringent standards using better quality material than most Chinese Bike builders are willing to use to keep the price down.
And I dont care what anyone says, when it comes to me riding along at 50 mph or cornering on a sharp bend I dont want to be an £899 chinese bike!
Nobody is being childish, but many have experienced or know others tales of owning Chinese and some are not pleasant. Just search the forums for more info.
I am more than happy to support new entrants into the market but not at the cost of safety and quality, on two wheels you just cant comprimise. ____________________ Current - 2007 Suzuki Bandit GSF1250 - 1999 Suzuki TL1000R

Yep eventually they did.
For now, they are poorly made to the point of being incredibly dangerous (e.g. Mattsprattuk's frame snapping at the headstock) and I will do anything I can to keep someone off one. ____________________ Don't practice it until you get it right, practice it until you don't get it wrong.

Is there any quality assurance?
Do you actually think of customer's safety?
Do you actually think of customer's satisfaction?
Is your goal just to get money?
Do you actually think making half priced bike is customer's satisfaction?
What do you think the difference between Sanya and Chongqing Jianshe Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (CJYM) which makes YBR125 in china?
Why do you try to sell in europe not in asia first?
Korea and japan is closer than europe.
Why you don't sell your bike directly in europe in your brand name? ____________________ own:2020 Serow 250

I'm gonna keep it brief coz I got bored with this a long time ago:
Datsun never made a car that was worse than a BL
Honda set out to win a TT and did it in around 20 years
The Japs put pride (and US/EU money) into their industry post-WWII
Chinese bikes are crap. ____________________ My claim to fame: Austin Vince nicked my pen... |
