Would mean what to you I have been having discussions with serveral people about this, yet there doesn't seem to be a common agreement on weather it would be this saturday coming or the saturday after.

I think saying next saturday would mean the next saturday.

I'm with you. I've never understood why people would say next Saturday, but actually be talking about the Saturday after the next one. That's just stoopid.

Next Saturday is the Saturday that is next to come, Then you have week next Saturday., Unless Saturday is the next day then next Satursay is the Saturday after.

If it is before Wednesday "Next Saturday" is the one coming. After Wednesday it is "This Saturday" and "Next Saturday" becomes the one after "This Saturday".
Of course if it is before (or on) Wednesday "This Saturday" is the one just gone, after Wednesday it becomes "Last Saturday".
Simple.

Next Saturday is the one after This Saturday coming. Even if it is only Sunday. In which case Saturday would be Saturday Just Gone.

So many people have confusion on this matter, that I often find myself saying "Next Saturday, that's Saturday the [nn]th" - just so that they know WHICH day I mean.
