Well I am in High school and I haven't taken the bus in the morning since like 3rd grade. I just do not like getting up earlier to take the bus so I have two options. Get driven in early (6:45/School starts at 7:10) or ride my bike and leave my house at like 7:00 or so. The school is not to far from my house. The pros to getting driven are the following:

Pros:
Just sit in a car with music with air/heat
Get There quicker
Dont have to ride a bike so early in the morning

Cons:
Have to leave early
Lazy Way

The pros of riding my bike are:
Leave later
Good Exercise
Relaxing

Cons:
Someone may jack my bike, paint it or jump me for it.

That is the only con of riding my bike and just see coming out of school one day and my bike gone or spray painted different colors or things like that.

What do you guys think? Leave earlier and get driven or leave later and ride my bike?

(Yes I will use a bike lock)

Depends if you like Emo music and carry a gun to kill your school friends or not.
Riding a cycle with a glok in your kit bag may be uncomfortable.

School starts at 7:10? Blimey if I were you I'd move to the UK Quick!

(although it might be worth bringing your flak jacket - firearms aren't exactly legal but a lot of kids these days don't seem to realise it... )

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I was looking for even a tiny clue that they meant a moped until I saw

But maybe all you folk have been teasing me by not telling me about what excercises you do on your bikes! Waiting until I become a fat rider before you let on.....

I like this thread, it's cute.

Cycle!! I never cycled to school when I was a youngster, and kinda wish I did.

Cycling is great because it gives you more indepedence: you leave when you want to, you can chill to your own music on a mp3 player, girls dig you if you've got one of those "full suspension" (hideous) contraptions, etc.

Get a helmet though!! And don't ride on the friggin pavement (unless you're under 10)
