I just read that a guy I know from Australia Greg Watters has just recorded a 220mph run at Bonneville salt flats. Like my own bike, his turbo setup is home-made.

Hell of an achievement getting so much power from such a small engine - in 100-degree heat Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

But would you care? I know I wouldn't Very Happy Very Happy

Apparently the bike is running fine and he's lent it to another rider to try for a record in another class.

What a speed for a home tuned setup. Respect to that man for running that on a 750.

Thumbs Up

Great stuff, as you said for a 750 this is a massive achievment.

I'd love to experience those sorts of speeds in relative 'safety' in fact scrap that I'd just love to experience those sorts of speeds.
