After my parrot died last year the house has been odd witout a bird chirping.
So after alot of research and visits to shops my mum fell in love with this creature!

She is a 4 month old Jardine and absolutley awesome! She is so playful and freindly. Allready she is trying to whistle and love to snuggle up against my neck!

Really she is my mums parrot but I think she is starting to bond with me.

Boggle eyed isn't it?

Never been a fan of keeping birds, not unless you have an aviary to let them fly around in, plus they smell, and are noisy.

She looks like a proper cutie!

My Dad kept and bred Australian parakeets as a hobby when we were kids and had enormous 30 foot flights for them. I had to look after them whenever they went away and was never very keen - they used to swing off my plait, steal my earrings and I did get a really nasty wound on my finger from a beak!

They've since moved, so he's left with just one Blue POW and she hates me with a passion, but just adores my brother - they definitely take a shine to people and know who they like.....or don't and they live for years. Parents joke they're gonna leave me her in their will - funny, not!

Personally I love the blue macaw. I am a fan of birds they are my favorite thing to draw also.
