its time to man up and get on with it lol

at the moment i am running Pirelli supercorsa's front and rear. i've been told that there really good in the dry but really bad in the wet because of the tread
rear tyre is in need of a change and not long untill the front needs changing to. any ideas on tyres?

If you're happy running corsas on the road then they're fine for the track.

The fairings are fine, you don't need to change anything unless you want to fit track / shite stuff in case of a crash.

You need to adjust your rear brake as it'll be grounding out.

bridgestone BT 90's seem to be a popular choice for smaller bikes, ... thats what i used on my RVF
Dunlop gpr 10's are also a good tire for 400cc.

For me the BT90's were about 100 euros cheaper than supercorsas ..

why do people stress about trackdays? you dont 'need' to do anything to your bike and any tyres will be fine. just turn up and ride, its alot safe than riding on the road!

because if you read my post propperly, im asking what tyres should i get as i dont want to completely hang of the bike like spiderman (bit like your avatar Laughing ). and is there anything i should set up on my bike, and what are the good circuits for a 400cc as they'll be too slow for places like donington

in all seriousness though. i dont want to be doodling around bolt upright. need the most i can get out of my bike

Anything that's round and black will be fine on a trackday. Wink My first was done on Michelin Pilot Sports, use 002's on my track bike now.

As above, any tyre will be fine as long as they aren't squared off too much - I'm running BT45 touring tyres and can still wear them to the edge on some of the corners at Cadwell Thumbs Up

and if you read my post properly, any tyres will be fine. Hanging off isnt a byproduct of which tyres you have.
