i see noone mentions italian bikes just chinese, japanese and all the other nese. japanese are great, Italian is great and so is british and american. chinese are just trying to extend there market at no consideration for human life which is obvious in the motorbike manufacture. I bought a chinese bike when i knew nothing about bikes, month and a half later the chinese bike goes and in comes the honda nsr a combination of japanese manufacture and italian assembly, anyway you probaly already knew that but all i'm saying is at the moment im seeing more aprillia and honda on the road, even triumph but if uneducated bikers keep on buying this chinese stuff at very tempting prices we will see an inflation of new crap on the streets. Just buy a 10 or 20 year old euro or japanese bike even if it needs a total rebuild, recycle save the planet from the all the C02 being produced at chinky bike factorys. One more thing when i had my chinky bike when someone asked me what bike i had i was embarassed to tell them, "oh some chinese import not worth telling you as you've probaly never heard of it" i'm happier now waiting a few days whilst my nsr gets a new piston then i was ridin the kaisar.

If some one has a chinese bike don't tell them to chuck it and stuff, and don't tell them to get off the forum. Its kinda rude. Maybe advise people to not get one if they are thinking of getting one. Otherwise I really think you shouldn't start bitching about the bikes....

Have you noticed that I tell you the problems with my bike? I really haven't had any one discussing it or anything...

I cannot see where China bike industry is going at present as all they are doing is building shitters. Going back about 30 years the Japs had it sorted and you always had the option to move up.

You could get XS250, GT or GS250, Z250, CB250 and then after you passed the test go for 400, 550, 750 and bigger with more performance. What use is it just to make L plate tackle? It may be ok for delivering pizzas, but that's about it.

Everybody knows they need to improve quality and reliability including me, but I don't think they will ever sell well until they make bigger bikes!

Maybe, but in terms of units built their output dwarfs Japans even without any larger engined bikes.

Market for large engined performance bikes is tiny compared too the market for the little 125s. While the larger bikes might be more expensive the continuous development costs swallow up much of the extra potential profits.

the chinese while masive exporters of bike shit, (oh and yes i have one and it still running 2 years on but only cause i know how to fix them) they import all our scrap metal, that should tel us summat SCRAP metal, yes they cheap and no parts are very easy to find though in 2 years you shouldent need new fairing new exhaust and new engines,

if you want to keep your scrap metal on the road scrap it and send it back to china

i bought my second hand honda (27 years old) for less than £100 spent another £200 and it still better than the chineese stuff
