Meeting spot will be at Big CC in Wokingham, although various people will be riding there from various places if you want someone to show you the way.

Ste - I'll do a dyno run now, I want to see how much of a difference a fixed engine makes. Thumbs Up

Why are you worried about meeting spots? It can't be more than 10 miles or so from your place - just meet us all there!

Hi

I will be along, and probably Charlotte as well. Might bring the Bandit and the Bimota.

All the best

Keith

Making up the numbers won't be an issue, however as a (new) member of the forum you are welcome to come along Smile
Last year I seem to remember we have about a dozen bikes tested and about 20 people attend for the social/BBQ side of things.

Oh, welcome to the strange thing that is BCF by the way Very Happy

Thats pretty handy then, i'm based in Crowthorne myself ... yer the zxr has gone in for 936cc wiseco pistons, rebore, gas flowed, port and polished, race billet cams, adjustable cam sprockets, heavy duty clutch conversion, billet cam chain tensioner ..... think thats about it for this stage, hopefully should be pushing 150Bhp and over a 100 ftlbs in torque Wink Then going back for bottom end work and 60 shot of nos.

Shes in a thousand pieces in the mo while she getting her dirty bits polished shiny Very Happy hopefully all in one piece in time for this dyno run.

What do you ride mate?

Erm, well a dr600 with a rattly cam chain to get to and from work etc.
A rs250 for Sunday ride outs etc... if it don't break and I can stick the riding position anyway.
A r6 for the track.
And I've got a zx9r E1 that's sitting doing nowt at the mo. However when I sort the gear box out I'll be using it for general fun and stunts. I bought it as a race/track bike and to some degree put it back on the road. I'm aiming to take the fairings off and maybe stick some renthals on (hopefully to stop me going so stupid-fast Razz) as well as stuff like a light that will pass MOT etc.
When it was raced it did have some head work done, showing 143rwhp on the big-cc dyno when I took it last year. The dyno was over-reading a tad I think, but then I noticed after that my chain was also pretty tight, which would probably sap a few horsies.]

Its always good to have a few toys ... lol got a hornet 600 i'm plodding around on at the mo, while im working on the ZXR. Looking for a supermoto project once the zx9r has stopped draining my wallet.

Do you know of any decent bike meets in the local area?

Since messing about on the dr I've been quite tempted by a supermoto, but all the half decent 4 strokes cost a lot... so I'm stuck with my rattly aircooled lump on some semi-street tyres.

We go to down to Box Hill occasionaly and can often be found messing about around Reading (see the vids section for some examples Smile ) as well as various other bits'n bobs around the place.... Some of us will probably be wandering down to the hook/oldiham meet next wednesday.

This was a few bits from last year:
