This is wierd and short, but I find it relaxing. Heard on an advert (mobile phone I think). Bit hippy-ish unfortunately.
Vashti Bunyan - Diamond Day.

Air-Moon Safrie I used to love as it chilled me out or Chican - far from the maddening crowd album. Kind of took me on a journey.

My flat mate listens to happy hardcore... He's weird though... Laughing

I've got a bit of Pink Floyd, Air (Talkie Walkie and the Virgin Suicides ST) Zero 7 are pretty laid back (Simple Things and When it Falls are the albums...)

Ultimate has to be Jean Michelle Jarre. I had all his stuff on Cassette (I know) Still building MP3/CD collection back up. Zoolook, Oxygen and Magnetic Fields are the best. Specific tracks would be Fishing Junks at Sunset (From Concerts in China) This I should say as a piece of music will not fail to send a warm shiver up the spine when it phases from traditional Chinese to French electronic, it is utterly sublime*... And Souvineer of China is being played at my funeral if I can be arsed to tell anyone... So much of his stuff is so good, to many to mention.

I have a bit of thing for French Electronica... I also like Charles Aznavour, he's just so cool... Laughing

Thumbs Up

* I'm going to have to down load that now... Cool

Ah yes, Dark Side Of The Moon!

Or if you're not a Floyd fanatic, Dub Side of the Moon by the Easy all stars - pink floyd but reggae.

The first is still better though.

Only trouble with DSOTM is Time, you get all chilled and about to nod off and those alarm clock bells start off, just about have you out of your skin.

I used to run an Arcade, we had a duke box (among other things...) One of the settings on the box was that when a song started it was really loud, it then got a bit quieter after a few seconds... (It was a marketing thing to get attention.)

If no one had selected anything for a spell it would play a popular choice automatically... Time was a popular choice... You basically got all those bells going off at full volume, without fail, I'd about leave my body with fright...

Laughing
