Wow, I just stumbled accross this pic, I nearly creamed my pant when I saw it, oh geeze.....Its too sexy!! I wish I waited for that one now!

There's already been a thread on this showing the real picture.

That's just a PB mock, and it's of the R7, not the R1.

OK that mock up is made up of..

Ducati 1098s rear wheel and single sided swingarm
Ducati 1098s front end (ohlins could be any sports bike really)
Ducati 1098 mirrors
R6 front fairing with added air intakes under lights
R6 Seat unit with single seat
R6 Petrol tank
Mv-agusta style underseat pipes
Rearsets look nothing like any Yamaha models (cross between rc45 and 1098)

Looks stunning but will never happen.

The rearsets look like they're off an MV to me.

Good call, they have cut the rearsets from an F4 along with the entire pipework, even kept the carbon-fibre heat shield
