China bike update.

Well someone in the new bikers part of the forum said they would like to hear how it is....so thought I would ive a 2 week update Razz

Pretty much no probs apart from stuff that was the dealers fault. Just one thing that we ( me and my dad) couldn't figure out. We where riding off and I got a sudden loss of power and my engine cut out. We know it was a fuel problem because of the way it powered down. We just don't know how it happened. There was not a kink in any pipe and there was no crap in the fuel tank.

Is it possible that the seals on my tank.....hole (can't think what to call it but the bit you put the fuel in to) blocked the breather?

Either way so far so good though. I keep it in a shed so no rust Very Happy

Thats really weird. I've got a Pulse Adrenaline and it did exactly the same thing! Only the once though and then fine again!

Yeah, It is actually really bothering me that we don't know why it happened. There are loads of busy fast roads around me and I don't want to conk out on one of them

Thats good, I will maybe see if he wants to go back and look at it, I know the trade price of the bike is £750 so I reckon we can get one fairly cheap.

More up dates! Well my fuel was leaking, guess where from!

Well I have a fuel gage right. The fuel found its way through the gage sensor bit down the wires. Hell it took some finding. thought I should say this one, very wierd and as far as I can think would have to be a manufacture fault.

This doesn't mean that all chinese bikes will do that but a few could.

Okay....Chinese bikes are a pile of shite. I now fucking hate my bike and want rid of it. Piece of shite. The fucking fuel gage no longer works. The petrol ruined the back break light bit.....basically what everyone else says get a fucking Honda....Fucking chinese bike....

Ah its how I learned. And it only gets worse when you suffer open wallet sugery later from it. Providing you can find anything to fit it.

Get a hyosung, only seen good reviews and i own 2 GT125R's.
Has one for nearly 2 years and the other for 6 months (long story) but after covering about 9000 miles on the one ive owned longest the only little problem ive had was the clutch cable snapped.
Solid engine, cracking bike, turns heads, isnt flimsy or small and is passed off as a 600+ to alot of peeps (including the bike copper who pulled me and thought it was a 750)

And no there not chinese Smile

Oh well, I really though the Pulse was looking like a better quality import from the Chinese this time, but admit I was put off by the trade prices.

A pulse to buy direct from the importer is £750.00, take off the importers cut and the little extras and this bike is being produced for I reckon about £300

I have seen quite a few reviews of the Hyosung GT's and they have all said that its a decent bike but the build quality wasn't up to much.

I would actually get a hyosung I havnht heard anything bad about them a d love the GT. Its just a pity I cant find one for sale. Which could be a good thing actually, maybe people arnt parting with them? dont know but I havnt heard anything bad.

Well they reatil around £3000 new, second hand the "Glasses(sp?)" guide they use for write off's rekkons around £2000 second hand for a 2 year old one with about 10K miles.
So they hold retail well too.
The insurance is VERY good, my mate who is a year younger than me pays nearly £1000 for his YZF-R125 (which blew up after 3 months!) where i pay £170 for the hyosung.

Theres a few on ebay knocking about, my white one will be for sale in a few months if you get saving, im keeping the black one.
