Repost and no it's not real.

Listen to the revs change as he gets on the bike, it just fades from tickover to a high revving bike.

if it isn't real, how hard would it be to make it?

looking at the replies on the site, some say it is possible on sports racing bikes to stay up like that because of the high revs.

pretty cool vid.

Yes it is possible, but they wouldn't flick themselves back up like that after a crash. It's usually where the rider falls off for whatever reason and the bike is still upright. If the bike's half leant over and the rider falls of the bike would continue in a circle at half lean. It's to do with gyroscopic force IIRC.

If the bike was leant over and the rider fell off it would return to the upright position due to the gyroscopic force from the wheels.

For a while maybe, then it would topple over, no way it would be upright for as long as in the vid.

How could it possibly be real, he changes down a gear at full lean, and the bike the accelerates once he's fallen off. Even then the revs don't match Laughing

It wouldn't return to an upright position, it would say in its current position. Gyroscopes like to carry on in the same position they are currently.

Next time you take a corner, push on the inside bar, then stop pushing. The bike will stay there at the desired lean angle. It won't move unless you(or something else) interferes with it.

You could in theory take both hands off the bars at kneedown levels of lean.

Remember Colin Edwards crash at Assen in 06 when he was racing for the win and skittled himself. the bike carried on for ages until it hit a wall.
Cool vid though.

Yet nobody has commented on how it's not real because the other bikes sound like they have moto GP engines...
